We help brands and experts sound like they mean it.
Showstarter is where a decade in broadcast, AV, and podcast production goes to work for your show. We handle setup, editing, and delivery - you focus on the conversation.
Trusted among brands & experts
Roles have varied, but the thread connecting broadcasting, live event production and podcast production is this:
We make people sound and look their best when the camera's rolling.
Our Shows
Our Services
-
You record from wherever you are; we handle the rest. Audio cleanup, multicam editing, shorts, show notes, and delivery. Built for hosts who'd rather focus on the conversation than the post.
-
New podcast with no idea where to start? We spec your gear, design the workflow, set up the recording environment, and produce the show from there. Same team, beginning to end.
-
Multi-camera, on-site, audience in the room. Production polish that lives on past the event itself, because a great recorded conversation isn't a one-night-only experience.
Featured Work
Case 1 — A weekly show, fully remote
FA SaaS company wanted a weekly conversation podcast without building an in-house production team. They record remotely; we handle editing, shorts, and review cycles. Six months in, the show ships every week without a missed deadline.
Case 2 — A consumer brand's flagship podcast
A consumer brand wanted a complete broadcast-grade setup so their host could record their weekly show without a producer in the room. We spec'd and built the rig — multicam switching, multitrack audio, dialed-in lighting — trained the team, and now produce the show weekly from their raw uploads. No in-house technician required.
A B2B SaaS company ran a recurring industry event with podcast-style stage conversations. We led production end-to-end — multi-camera, audio, post — turning each event into a library of broadcast-quality episodes that kept earning attention long after the room emptied out.
Case 3 — A live event podcast series
Need a place to record?
Not every show records from home. If you're in Toronto and want a professional studio environment, we work with trusted local partners and can recommend the right space for your format, budget, and crew size — then handle production from there.
From launch to live show, we help your podcast find its voice.
ShowStarter was born in 2020 with a simple belief: you have expertise, a story, or a perspective worth sharing — and podcasting is one of the most powerful ways to share it. We're a full-service production studio supporting established brands and personalities, handling everything from recording and editing to live events and streaming, so you can stay focused on the message. Small team, big standards. Every project gets the creativity and care it deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
Every show is different, so we quote per project after a discovery call. Most engagements are monthly
retainers based on episode volume and what's included. As a rough anchor: ongoing remote production starts around $800/month for 4 episodes. Full show buildouts and live events are scoped and quoted separately.
-
Remote is our main lane right now. We also handle live event podcasting (multi-camera, on-site), and we're building out in-person recording options in Toronto. If you need a studio in the meantime, we partner with several local spaces and can recommend the right one for your show.
